Emergency Shelter - providing a safe environment for adults and children who are victims of domestic violence and sexual assault. Arrange for transportation to the shelter as needed. We have provided emergency travel assistance to victims who wish to leave the community for safety reasons, within the bounds of local, state and federal laws. Provide safety, support & education to victims of domestic violence and/or sexual assault. Support groups: incest survivors, domestic violence/sexual assault, Women for Sobriety changing pattterns and a parenting class, 24 hour crisis line. Referral to area resources/ supportive services.
Safety and immediate care for victims; advocacy in the judicial, medical and social services systems; public education to promote awareness and prevention. SeaView Community Services Domestic Violence and Sexual Assault Program offers 24 hour emergency services providing emergency temporary shelter for victims who cannot safely remain in their current lodgings. We offer transportation to shelter, immediate and continued emotional support, assistance in legal issues, medical needs, financial matters, housing, job training, and victim advocacy.
